We are inevitably tied together to the “reality” that surrounds us.
Human beings are “contextual” beings: this context informs us and we inform it back.
Every element and subject interacts within this complex system. New components are constantly added to this volatile system, so fast adaptation is required. The bond between an individual and its surroundings is unbreakable. One does not function without the other.
We rely on this bond in order to survive.
What would happen in a place where there is no such thing as a native culture or community? Does a new form of society develop where many individuals of different backgrounds and cultures coexist as an isolated community?
Do we “lose” our culture when we are not in it?
Do we lose our humanity as well?
