This installation consists of a transparent container filled with water, onto which a video performance is projected. The projector hangs from the ceiling, suspended by retractable cables, casting its image onto the liquid surface to create a shifting, unstable visual field.
The work stems from a bodily investigation into the sensation of disconnection between self and environment. In this autobiographical exploration, I attempt—unsuccessfully—to find ways of belonging to a context that feels foreign, cold, and almost hostile. A Possible Infinite refers to that circular, oppressive reality from which I cannot escape, but within which I also cannot fully exist. A suspended state that, rather than containing me, dissolves me.
Esta instalación consiste en un recipiente transparente lleno de agua, sobre el cual se proyecta una video-performance. El proyector, suspendido del techo mediante cables extensibles, lanza su imagen sobre la superficie líquida, generando un campo visual inestable y fluctuante.
La obra nace de una investigación corporal sobre la desconexión entre cuerpo y entorno. En esta exploración autobiográfica, intento —sin éxito— diferentes formas de habitar un contexto que percibo como ajeno, frío, casi hostil. Un Infinito Posible refiere a esa realidad circular, opresiva, de la que no puedo salir pero en la que tampoco logro pertenecer. Un estado de suspensión que, más que contener, disuelve.
